New Decade, New Style?

The Pink Magnolia Family wants to wish everyone a very Happy New Year! We are so excited for what 2020 is going to bring PM with the events, pop ups, discounts, and more that we have planned just for you all!

Starting the new year can make you feel all the emotions; hopeful, excited, inspired, but also scared, doubtful, skeptical. Whether you are wanting to hit the gym, get that promotion, or change up your look, we all need a little guide on how to start.

We are here to help you clean out your closet and start the new decade with a fresh look. Going through your closet and finding that shirt you thought you had to have, but it still has the tag on it, or those pair of jeans you've had since your freshman year of college and you just couldn't work up the nerve to throw them out, and even those shoes you've walked your proudest steps in and you feel empowered when you wear them. Whatever it may be, leave it in 2019 and pass it down to someone to give them a chance to write their story.

Starting to shop for a new look can be overwhelming. Where do I start? What do I buy? What style do I want? If you have no idea what your style is a good way to discover that is to look at your local bloggers and see what brands they're wearing and what items they pair together. It is also a great way to find out what you like and dislike. Pinterest and the Like to Know It app are two fan favorite tools to use because the pictures have the links attached to them where you can find all the outfit details. Now when it comes to going out and shopping, always start with simple everyday pieces. For example, basic V-neck tees, tank tops, leggings, jeans, and casual sweaters. Pink Magnolia has the best reversible tank that is one size, slim fitting, and available in a variety of colors. Our Just Black jeans are a closet must have! They are stretchy, comfortable, and flattering, what else could you ask for? We also have a heavy collection of tops, blouses, and cardigans that you will find to be unique and different than the big chain stores. If you want to expand your wardrobe even further, Target, Marshalls, TjMaxx, and H&M are some stores where you can take a look at as well. Once you have purchased these pieces, then start to look for the dresses, rompers, skirts, and dressier tops that will spice up your wardrobe. Never buy something that has the chance of being worn once, but instead pick out pieces that you know you can wear multiple ways with more than one outfit. These items may be, a denim jacket, a graphic tee that you can dress up or dress down, and even a skirt you can wear for a night out and business casual for work. If you keep these important tips in mind when you are creating your wardrobe, you will find shopping to be even more exciting and before you know it you will be walking the town confident and stylish with a whole new look!
